곡수리 공소 성당의 말구유는 구유 좌우 가로 길이 145 cm X 구유 폭과 내광 폭 45 cm X 구유 높이 40cm 크기로서, 한국 농촌의 농가에서 100 여년 이상된 굵은 소나무를 베어 음지에서 몇년 건조시킨 후, 육송의 내부를 깎아내어 만들어서, 100 여년 이상 사용하던 실제 구유입니다.

아기 예수 탄생하신 실물 구유를 관상하기 위하여,,,!
십자가 없는 예수님의 인류구원 사업을 생각할 수 없듯이,
구유가 없는 아기 예수의 성탄절을 생각할 수 없읍니다.
성탄의 의미와 가치와 교훈을 알려주며 대변하는 성물은 구유입니다.
미사 때 제단이나 제대에는 반드시 있어야 하는 성물은 십자가 고상이듯이,
아기 예수 성탄절, 이른 바, 크리스마스 추리 장식에 반드시 있어야 하는 성물은 말구유입니다. 되도록이면, 실물크기의 말구유가 더 실감나는 장식 성물이 아닐 수 없읍니다.
천주 성자 구세주 그리스도 예수님께서는 베들레헴 주막집 마구간 말구유에 태어나셨는데, 우리들은 헤로데 왕궁에 별궁같은 크고 좋은 집들도 부족하여 마다하지 않는가?!! Praesepium Jesu Infantis !!!

곡수공소 성탄 말구유(2018.01.04)/ 우리 주님이 태어나신 말구유의 의미와 교훈과 가치를 묵상합시다.
예수님의 탄생일을 사도들에게 알려주신 분은 성모님이실 수 밖에 없읍니다. 주막집 마구간 말구유 위에 태어난 아기는 주님 뿐이십니다. 아주 심오하고 무궁무진한 의미와 교훈을 우리에게 주십니다.
곡수리 공소 성당의 말구유는 구유 좌우 가로 길이가 145 cm, 구유 폭과 내광 폭이 45 cm~50 cm, 지면에서 구유 높이는 40cm 크기로서, 한국 농촌의 농가에서 100 여년 이상된 굵기 직경 50cm 이상되는 장송을 베어서 몇년 음지에서 건조시킨 후, 내부를 깎아내어 만들어서, 100 여년 이상 사용하던 실제 구유입니다. 십자가 없는 예수님의 인류구원 사업을 생각할 수 없듯이, 구유가 없는 아기 예수의 성탄을 생각할 수 없습니다. 성탄의 의미와 가치와 교훈을 구유없이 이해할 수 없습니다. 그러나 최근 천주 성자 아기 예수님이 태어나시어 누어 계시던 말구유마져 대부분 사라지고(?), 반짝이는 여러 장식품들이 주로 아기 예수 탄생을 꾸미고 있읍니다. 하느님의 아드님이 성모님을 통하여 인간 세계에 오시는데, 주막집 마구간의 말구유를 선택하신 그 의미와 교훈과 가치를 우리는 반드시 명상해 보아야 하겠읍니다. Christmas is the commemoration of the birth of Jesus who was born in a stable in Bethlehem over 2000 years ago. Besides decorations, lights, Christmas trees, gifts and goodies, this annual event is especially celebrated with Holy Mass and the representation of the birth of Jesus Christ or the Nativity scene as narrated in the Gospel.

Through the centuries, the Nativity scene has been represented in a variety of art forms and traditions around the world.
100 Cribs“100 Presepi”, the Italian for "100 Cribs", is an international art exhibition of a vast variety of Nativity scenes that
Manlio wanted to draw the attention of all, especially children and young people, to the Nativity scenes as works of art, no matter how they are made them, provided they respected the values of peace and brotherhood symbolized in the birth of Jesus. This effort reinforced the family tradition of setting up nativity scenes according to their tastes.
Another aim of the "100 Cribs "is to promote and spread the tradition abroad through the numerous tourists and media outlets who visit the exhibition around Christmas time in Rome.
International art formsThe exhibition has held on to its initial title, "100 Cribs", because it had 100 Nativity scenes, but it displays about 200 new cribs each year.
The cribs, which are completely rebuilt every year, come from all over Italy and from about 25 foreign countries. They are works of art of Italian and foreign artists and artisans, collectors, amateurs, elementary and middle school students, representatives of cultural and social associations, state, local bodies and national and foreign museums.

VaticanAs organizers found it difficult to continue the exhibition because of financial constraints, the “100 Cribs” moved to the Vatican in 2018 after 42 years at Piazza del Popolo.
The Vatican’s Pontifical Council for the Promotion of the New Evangelization that is sponsoring the event at the St. Pius X Hall on Via
Pilgrims and tourists intending to visit the Vatican exhibition can consult its website.
